I'm being emailed listings for the wrong neighborhood. How can I change that?
As part of our service, we email you property listings based on what we've determined to be your primary area of search. We determine your primary area of search based on the city you last searched on our website. If you'd like to receive emailed listings for a different city or neighborhood, you can simply start a new search in the city/neighborhood you're interested in, or you can edit your email preferences.
How do I unsubscribe from Rent.com email?
To unsubscribe, simply edit your email preferences.
How do I sign in to an existing Rent.com account?
To sign in to your existing Rent.com account, simply click "Sign In" on the Rent.com home page. You'll be asked to submit your email address and Rent.com password, and then you'll arrive at your personalized Rent.com home page. Once you sign in to your Rent.com account, you usually won't need to sign in again—unless you "Sign Out" or use a different computer.
Why do I have to give my name and email address to use Rent.com?

What if I'm not finding properties in my search?
If you're not finding any properties matching your current search, it's possible that you are being too specific with your search criteria and the exact combination of features you're looking for simply can't be found among our advertised properties. We suggest you start with broader search criteria and then narrow your choices from there.
Why doesn't Rent.com have advertisements for properties in my area?
Rent.com currently advertises properties in most major rental markets; however, we may not have properties for certain smaller areas. We apologize if we do not yet have properties in your area. Please check back with us in the future, as we add new areas all the time.
How can I communicate with properties that interest me?
When you sign up for your Rent.com account, you have access to each property's contact information (toll-free phone number and street address). You can also send an electronic message to the property by clicking "Check Availability" on the property's full-page advertisement.
